Delegation led by deputy head of the United Front Work Department of CPC Central Committee visits UM

Tan Tianxing, deputy head of the United Front Work Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, recently visited the University of Macau (UM) and was warmly received by UM Rector Yonghua Song, Lui Che Woo College Associate Master Tam Sik Chung, Librarian Wu Jianzhong, and Global Affairs Office Interim Director Wong Kei. During the visit, the guests visited Lui Chi Woo College and UM Wu Yee Sun Library. Rector Song told the guests about UM’s educational philosophy, campus environment, and master plan. Tan praised UM for its achievements in globalisation and expressed hope that the university will become an important institute for disseminating Chinese culture.
