A group of UM Reporters and PR Student Ambassadors recently (June 5-9) went on a five-day trip to Hangzhou and Shanghai. Led by Katrina Cheong, director of UM’s Communications Office, the students visited Zhejiang University, Fudan University, and Shanghai Jiao Tong University. They exchanged ideas with teachers and students there and learned a great deal in conducting interviews, making videos, managing new media, and guiding campus tours. The students also visited the headquarters of Alibaba in Hangzhou and the China Art Museum in Shanghai.
