The University of Macau (UM) recently held the Macau Tournament of Champions BP Invitational 2018 and its closing ceremony. Co-organised by UM and the Macau English Debating Association, the three-day event attracted 88 top debaters from North America, Europe, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. A team formed by Arthur Lee from Stanford University and Lee Chin Wee from the University of Oxford won the championship. Lee Chin Wee also won the Best Debater Award in the final, while Darion Ho-Tan from King’s College London won the Overall Best Speaker Award.
