The University of Macau (UM) National Flag Team recently held a series of activities to celebrate the 73th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. The activities included exchange activities at Ma Man Kei and Lo Pak Sam College and Choi Kai Yau College, as well as a flag raising ceremony on 1 October in the university’s Lotus Square. Attendees of the ceremony included UM Vice Rector Michael Hui, Vice Rector Ge Wei, Dean of Students Paul Pang, residential college masters and associate masters, Student Resources Section Acting Head Sabina Cheong, and over 400 UM faculty members and students.
