The University of Macau (UM) will hold the UM Teaching Excellence Award Seminar on 11 October (Tuesday). Garry Wong, professor in the Faculty of Health Sciences, who is the recipient of the UM Teaching Excellence Award for the 2021/2022 academic year, will give a talk titled ‘A Teacher’s Journey through Time and Place’. All are welcome.
During the talk, Prof Wong will take the audience on a journey through time, exploring evolving teaching methods, technological advances, and different teaching philosophies. He will also share his personal experiences as well as anecdotes and insights as a teacher.
The talk will start at 3:00pm and will be conducted in English. The event will be available both online and in a physical setting. The physical version of the talk will be held in the Multi-function Hall of the UM Guest House (N1-G014). For enquiries, please call 8822 4504.
