The University of Macau (UM) today (27 May) held a talk titled ‘The Fundamental Issue for Developing a New Generation of Artificial Intelligence: The Relationship between Cognition and Computation’ as part of the University Lecture Series. Chen Lin, member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, was the keynote speaker. During the talk, he discussed his studies on the ‘global-first’ principle of cognition and the relationship between cognition and computation.
