The University of Macau (UM) Faculty of Arts and Humanities and the UM Library will co-organise an exhibition of Chinese translations of works by Portuguese authors between 5 May and 18 May as part of the activities to celebrate the World Portuguese Language Day. The exhibition aims to help the public learn more about Portuguese literature and culture. An opening ceremony will be held on the morning of 5 May for the celebration. The events can be mainly divided into two parts, namely a kick-off ceremony for the book exhibition at 2:30pm at the UM Gallery (E1) and a Portuguese poetry recital at 3:00pm by students in the Department of Portuguese.
