Experts of the State Key Laboratory of Quality Research in Chinese Medicine at the University of Macau and the Macau University of Science and Technology, and the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences have jointly established the Consortium of ‘Belt and Road’ and Portuguese-Speaking Countries for Natural Medicine Innovation (Macao). The consortium will take advantage of Macao’s role as a platform between China and Portuguese-speaking countries to promote exchange and collaboration between China and countries covered in the ‘Belt and Road’ initiative, as well as Portuguese-speaking countries, in the field of medical sciences, particularly traditional Chinese medicine and natural medicine. The consortium will also promote communication among different economies and the sustainable development of medical sciences, for the greater good of mankind.
