The University of Macau (UM) Office of Sports Affairs and the Macau China Society of Physical Education and Sport Pedagogy have invited Zhang Hongjie, a professor at the Shanghai University of Sport, to conduct a one-week team building and training session for the UM Men’s Basketball Team. The training programme aims to provide the athletes with comprehensive sports training and coaching to prepare them for the coming tournaments in 2021. In addition, Zhang Hongjie explained to the basketball team members the important components, the latest development, and the future of the sports industry in China, in order to give the athletes a deeper understanding of sports science research.
