The first Portuguese course organized by the University of Macau (UM) for future teachers of Chinese language (Mandarin) in Portuguese-speaking countries will end tomorrow (14 April). UM will hold the closing ceremony and present the certificates to participants tomorrow afternoon.
This course, organized at the request of the Confucius Institute which is responsible for teaching Chinese abroad, is a one-year course with total class hours exceeding one thousand. A total of twenty-eight future teachers participated in the course.
The closing ceremony will take place at 18:00 p.m. at the Auditorium II, UM Library.
