The “Dr Sun Yat-sen and the United States” Exhibit kicked off at the University of Macau (UM) Library on 13 December. The event is co-organised by UM Library, the Memorial House of Dr Sun Yat-sen in Macao, the Sun Yat–sen Memorial Hall in Taiwan, the Consulate General of the United States in Hong Kong & Macau. UM’s Vice Rector (Student Affairs) Prof Haydn Chen, the director general of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office, Scott Robinson from the Consulate General of the United States in Hong Kong & Macau, and UM Librarian Dr Poon Wah Tung officiated at the opening ceremony.
The exhibition is taking place in the Anthony S. W. Lau Exhibition Hall, UM Library, from 9:00am to 8:00pm, 13 December 2012 through 13 January 2013, with the only exception of three public holidays (24 December, 25 December and 1 January 2013). The exhibition is open to the public. All are welcome.
