Four top universities in mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau — Peking University, Taiwan University, the University of Hong Kong and the University of Macau, come together to launch the cooperation scheme of the Chinese departments of Cross-Strait universities. The cooperation allows the Chinese departments of the participating universities to leverage on each other’s comparative advantages, enhance academic exchanges, increase training opportunities for postgraduate students and promote the Chinese culture in the region and the world. This is the second cooperation between the four universities following the joint research centre for Chinese innovative medicines established last year.
