Introduction to German Law, a book co-written by Prof. Fan Jianhong from the Faculty of Law, University of Macau (UM), and his PhD student Li Chong, was recently published by the China Legal Publishing House. By presenting theories of German law as well as judicial cases from the perspectives of private law, public law and law education, the book provides a treasure trove of reference data for Chinese scholars to draw on for the studies of rule by law in China. Published in China which also follows the continental law system, the book has received positive feedback from readers with an educational background in law.
