Nine University of Macau (UM) students recently attended the National Model United Nations 2014, which was held in the United States. The five-day event attracted over 5,000 students from more than 300 schools around the world. UM is the only university from Hong Kong and Macao to participate in this event. Headed by UM’s Department of Government and Public Administration Head Prof. Wang Jianwei, the delegation also visited the Permanent Mission of the People’s Republic of China to the United Nations (UN) and the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Iraq to the UN.
