The Sixth Cross-Strait Four-Region and International Conference on Buddhist Studies will be held on 16 June and 17 June at the University of Macau (UM). It will be the first time this conference is held in Macao. More than 30 scholars from mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, the United States, Canada, Japan, and South Korea are expected to present their research findings at the conference.

The conference is organised by UM’s Faculty of Arts and Humanities, with assistance from the Chinese University of Hong Kong’s Centre for the Study of Humanistic Buddhism, Sun Yat-sen University, and the Graduate Institute of Religious Studies of Chengchi University, Taiwan.

The opening ceremony will take place on 16 June, in Room L105, Luso-Chinese Building, UM. It will begin at 9:00am. All are welcome. For enquiries, please call 83978821.
