UM students receive prizes at Beijing Model United Nations

Six students from the University of Macau’s (UM) Youth Association of International Affairs (YAIA) recently received the best media team award and the best position paper award at Beijing Model United Nations 2015. Headed by UM’s Department of Government and Public Administration Head Prof Wang Jianwei, the delegation attended several mock UN meetings, including those of the Security Council, the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), and the Media and Press Centre. This year’s event attracted 343 teachers and students from 69 universities and secondary schools. The event was hosted by China Foreign Affairs University.
