5th Biennial Conference of the World Accounting Frontiers Series held at UM

The Fifth Biennial Conference of the World Accounting Frontiers Series was recently held at the University of Macau (UM). Organised by the Department of Accounting and Information Management, this year’s conference attracted over 70 experts and scholars from around the world.

The biennial conference aims to provide a platform for scholars, experts, and industry practitioners to exchange ideas on the latest developments in accounting research and to discuss challenges facing the industry. The theme of this year’s conference is ‘Bridging between Accounting and Accounting Information Systems (AIS)’.

UM hosted three previous conferences of the World Accounting Frontiers Series, in 2009, 2011, and 2013, respectively.
