Lei Sin I, a fourth-year student from the University of Macau (UM) Department of Government and Public Administration, and a member of UM’s Moon Chun Memorial College, has been elected a top 10 volunteer in Macao.
Lei was a member of the first cohort of UM’s Service Leaders Scheme. She has participated in many activities organised under the Service Leaders Scheme, including regular visits to a children’s centre under Caritas de Macau.
Lei is very happy to receive the honour. She expressed thanks to her family for their support and encouragement, and to the instructors in the Service Leaders Scheme for giving her the opportunity to participate in volunteer activities.
The Service Leader Scheme was launched by the Student Affairs Office, with the purpose of encouraging students to participate in volunteer activities and give back to society.
